We first met David Flinn during one of fashion’s most epic evenings—September Fashion Week at none other than Barney’s now-famous karaoke party. Originally an event that was intended to celebrate Carine Roitfeld, it was quickly taken over by the singing pipes of Valentino himself. As we made our way over to the next party of the night, David mentioned a solo show of his work coming up at Envoy Enterprises on the LES.

We were blown away (quite literally—there were electric fans involved in the piece) by David’s unique installation process.

Recently we had a chance to catch up with this exceptionally talented, burgeoning, young artist.
